- Curriculum is prepared as per CBME guidelines. The sessions are aligned and integrated with other subjects to provide in depth learning of specific term. Crafted according to CBME guidelines with modifications based on feedback received. Regular reviews and updates ensure relevance and alignment with current medical education standards. Implementation of diverse teaching methods selected based on objectives, domain and level of instruction. We are committed to promote higher standards in medical education, health care, research and community health services. We are also committed to promote student centred learning and to keep liaison with local national and international institutions to promote and exchange knowledge. Continuous assessment through internal examinations, logbooks, journal writing, asignments and attendance.
Service Provided
- Celebration of various Health Days :Ā
To create awareness and spread knowledge regarding different communicable and non – communicable diseases.
- Family Adoption Programme:
Exposure to field based learning by adopting three to five families per student. Regular visits and timely advices to the families regarding health education for adolescent health, maternal and child health, geriatric people, sanitation and cleanliness, health hygiene, dietary advices, mental health etc.
- Field visits: Hands on experience in various community health settings like Anganwadi centres, sub centres, health and wellness centres, primary health centres, community health centres, sub district hospitals and district hospitals.
- Role plays and drama: at the grass root level to create awareness among the general population.Ā
- Industrial and corporate visits: For exposure to occupational health.
- Visit to different NGOs: Visit to deaf and dumb school. Orphanage home, old age home.
- Training and workshops: for doctors, students, paramedical staff and community members.

Family Adoption Programme

Family adopted: 300 families by the student of batch 2024-25 under the guidance of community medicine.
